A Thousand Splendid Suns
This book was so good I can't even describe it. I'd heard it wasn't as good as The Kite Runner so I was expecting it to be along the same lines. But it was so very much better that I can't even remember that 1st book. My heart went so much into these characters that I found myself praying for them! Now a much stronger awareness of Afghan women.

Good to know. I had a hard time with The Kite Runner, so I didn't even try to read this one. I'll give it a shot
